Other shrubs for great fall foliage include: Enkianthus, Oakleaf Hydrangea, Virginia Sweetspire, and Clethra. Fall blooming shrubs include: Blue Mist Shrub, Scotch Heather, and Witch Hazel. Shrubs with colorful fruits for fall include: American Cranberry Bush, Linden Viburnum, and Red Chokeberry. Some selections bear colorful berries, others have colorful leaves, and some continue to have bright blooms. Recommended shrubs that are sure to please include: Arrowwood Viburnum, Sumac, Fothergilla, Tor Spirea, and Blackhaw Viburnum. Arrowwood Viburnum bears white flowers in spring.
